It is with the online consumer trends in mind that Katty Xiomara is developing a new line of revamped basics and more versatile pieces, which she will debut during MODTISSIMO. Clothing pieces made to last, and that can be used in more than one season, a trend that is here to stay.
“The online is the only option we have at this moment, and because our pieces are special and require a correct fitting, we are fully aware that they are difficult to perceive online. Dressing the piece and feeling the textures is very important”, explains Katty Xiomara.
This complexity is exactly why this designer it is now developing “a new line of improved basics and more versatile pieces”, precisely “designed for online sale since they do not need to be tried out in advance. I am launching many unique pieces, in a “one size fits all” concept. They will be more basic, but keeping my DNA”, explains the designer.
This new line is already being developed, and is in line with the collection that will be presented from March 10th to 12th in the digital edition of MODTISSIMO. “The future means more free collections, without the pressure of the seasons. We are going to present pieces made to last, and that can be used in more than one season. That is the great trend of the future”, previews Katty Xiomara.
