Back to normal after three months operating with a production capacity of only 30%, Solinhas looks at the next Modtissimo as the great opportunity to reunite with its customers. It is a lever for our business, says the company specialized in sewing threads.
“In the midst of this totally new situation, it is urgent to find ways to communicate with customers and with potential clients”, defends Lurdes Fernandes, responsible for Solinhas’ commercial and export departments. “We believe that the next edition of Modtissimo is a lever for our business”, explains the head of Solinhas, who will take to the Portuguese textile salon a complete range of sewing threads for clothing and home textiles.
The pandemic led the company to reduce production to just 30% of its capacity for three months, and for that reason the presence at Modtissimo becomes even more relevant. “Right now we are already working at 100%, but we have been through some difficult months. We need to return to normal”, states the company’s representative.
Despite having participated in international fairs such as Heimtextil and PV Paris, Solinhas bases its strategy on the Portuguese market. “In 2020 we will not participate in any fair abroad. In 2021, it all depends on how the pandemic, and the company, will evolve”, explains Lurdes Fernandes.
