In the 6th edition of the MODTISSIMO Young Designers Competition the students from the main fashion design schools worked the national manufacturers’ fabrics to the will of their imagination. These creations were on show and charmed visitors in the exhibition hall, but also the jury of the competition, who paid special attention.
In this edition the jury was presided by the reporter from L’Industrie du Textile, Valerie Couture, and had the designer Katty Xiomara and also Vinhas dos Santos, representing the company Fábrica de Fiação e Tecidos Jacinto by her side.
In first place came Bárbara Silva, from CITEX, sponsored by Heliotêxtil; in second place came Maria Polónia, from Escola de Moda do Porto, sponsored by TMG; and finally in third place came Eliana Pinto, from Escola de Moda do Porto, sponsored by LMA. |
